An updated layout and rich green cabinetry transform an inefficient kitchen design and floor plan.
The renovation of this Manly Vale apartment kitchen was designed to solve the challenges of an inefficient floor plan that failed to maximise the home’s space. The new design completely transforms the footprint, introducing a highly functional layout, increasing both storage and benchspace, while integrating seamlessly with the open plan living and dining area.
A full-height wall of custom cabinetry in a deep green finish maximises tall storage and provides much needed pantry storage, with its textural fluted detailing adding bespoke character. The splashback of handmade Zellige tiles reflects light beautifully, adding texture and a timeless quality.
The new timber peninsula provides a central hub with seating for two, and its design cleverly incorporates additional storage accessible from the dining room side. Elegant brass hardware completes the look, resulting in a kitchen that is now a beautiful, spacious, and highly practical heart of the home.
