Balanced harmony: serene Japanese minimalism meets lush Balinese textures in Zen-inspired sanctuaries.
This project explores the delicate balance of Yin and Yang, creating two distinct yet harmonious bathroom sanctuaries. The primary bathroom embraces a moody “Yin” aesthetic, featuring vertical forest green tiles and authentic Shou Sugi Ban (charred timber) walls. A stone vessel sink and bronze accents complete this grounded, Balinese-inspired retreat.
In contrast, the ensuite embodies “Yang” through Japanese minimalism. Soft, curved micro-cement walls, organic shaped mirrors, and a circular skylight create a luminous, ethereal space. Fluted glass and minimalist fixtures serve as the cohesive thread, blending raw natural elements with architectural precision.
From the immersive, dark tones of the charred timber to the airy, spa-like serenity of the ensuite, these spaces showcae Asian-inspired interior design, organic textures, and Zen-style luxury.
